Avicii's ex-girlfriend has tragically died aged 34.Emily Goldberg passed away on April 3 in La Jolla, California, according to her official obituary.The family also disclosed her career path, stating that after graduating college, the 34-year-old joined other DJs on an EDM music tour before going on to work in event planning and social media marketing for a hotel in Las Vegas.Towards the end of her life, she then found herself in the world of American and Japanese wrestling before her life was changed by a cancer diagnosis.In 2022, she began treatment for an undisclosed cancer as per her final Instagram post, but confirmed that she was now at the end of her treatment, beating the disease."I am now cancer free," she wrote in the caption of the post alongside a Snapchat photo of herself seemingly laying in a hospital bed with the caption "I lived b****" written across it.Despite the good news, Goldberg suffered from a pulmonary embolism - a life-threatening condition in which one or more arteries in the lungs have been blocked by a blood clot - which tragically claimed her life last month.Prior to her death, she dedicated a tribute to her late ex-boyfriend, Avicii.
