However, one family's recent Disney World trip has made headlines for all the wrong reasons, with the couple facing legal consequences following their extravagant vacation.
Sue and Noel Radford have 22 children and 10 grandchildren, and as such are Britain's largest family. The family spent a considerable sum celebrating Sue's 50th birthday. But what started as a joyous occasion ended with a hefty fine and public backlash.
The Radford family were slapped with a fine for taking four of their children out of school for their Florida vacation. The family, based in Morecambe, Lancashire, were fined £65 per child for failing to ensure regular school attendance between March 24 and May 1, 2025, per The Liverpool Echo.
Additionally, they were ordered to pay £118 in court costs, bringing the total fine to £756. The fines came shortly after the family had returned from their £52,000 ($70,000) trip, which had already been heavily criticized.
Sue Radford celebrated her milestone birthday with a grand family trip to Disney World. The trip included flights, accommodation, and park passes for the couple's children and 11 grandchildren.
While many shared in the joy of the occasion, there was some criticism regarding the absence of their daughter Chloe, who was unable to join due to being pregnant with her second child.
Another setback occurred when Millie Radford, 24, and her two children were delayed at the airport due to expired ESTA certificates, although Noel stayed behind to help them sort the issue.
Despite the challenges, the family was able to resume their trip, with photos shared on Instagram capturing happy moments, including a photo of Sue wearing Minnie Mouse ears and holding a large drink.
