which features Mia Goth as leading lady Maxine Minx, is the third film in Ti West's X trilogy, which includes the film X and the prequel Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story.The story is set in the 1980s and follows Minx as she chases fame in Hollywood all while she is being targeted by a serial killer on the loose.The IMDb summary of the film reads: “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break, but as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”Watch the trailer below:One particular scene, which takes place early on in the film, has disturbed cinemagoers as it shows Minx being followed down a dark alleyway by a knife-wielding attacker.Realizing she's possibly in danger, Minx quickly turns around and pulls out a gun.
