A house hearing derailed into chaos after Marjorie Taylor Greene, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Jasmine Crockett got into a heated exchange.The House Oversight Committee proceedings took place on Thursday night (May 16) and were supposed to resolve whether Attorney General Merrick Garland was to be held in contempt of Congress.However, the evening session spiraled out of control with lawmakers yelling over one another and hurling insults, leaving Chairman James Comer struggling to maintain order.Watch the moment below:The disarray began after Greene brought up the daughter of the Manhattan judge presiding over ex-President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, and then launched a personal attack on democrat Crockett's appearance.“I’d like to know if any of the Democrats on this committee are employing Judge [Juan] Merchan’s daughter,” the 49-year-old Republican asked, as reported by The New York Post.Crockett, 43, demanded that Greene explain “what that has to do with Merrick Garland,” and asked the controversial politician: “Do you know what we’re here for?”“I think you know what you’re here for,” Greene hit back. “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”
