In a shocking revelation, a Venezuelan soldier recounted a nightmarish experience during the January 3rd raid aimed at capturing dictator Nicolás Maduro.
According to the soldier, U.S. forces used an unprecedented and powerful weapon that left Venezuelan troops helpless, with many experiencing terrifying physical effects, including bleeding from the nose and vomiting blood.
A Mysterious Force with Unmatched Power
The incredible story was shared by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on social media, as she posted a firsthand account from a guard who was part of the Venezuelan forces on duty that night.
The soldier described a series of bizarre events that unfolded as American forces descended on their position, overpowering hundreds of defenders with only a handful of troops.
“We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation,” the soldier recalled.
“The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn’t know how to react.” In what seemed like a coordinated strike, a small group of helicopters — just eight, by the guard’s count — swooped in and deployed approximately 20 U.S. troops.
The Precision and Technology of American Forces
Although the Venezuelan forces were vastly outnumbered, the few American troops quickly made their presence felt. Armed with technology the soldier had never encountered before, the U.S. unit wiped out the defenders with astounding precision, per the New York Post.
“They were technologically very advanced,” the guard said.
“They didn’t look like anything we’ve fought against before.” What followed was a massacre, not a battle. The soldier described how the American forces fired with such speed and accuracy that it felt as though each soldier was discharging 300 rounds per minute.
A Weapon Unlike Anything Seen Before
But the true horror came when the U.S. forces deployed a mysterious weapon. “At one point, they launched something; I don’t know how to describe it,” the soldier said. “It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.”
The result was devastating. “We all started bleeding from the nose,” the guard recalled. “Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon — or whatever it was.”
The Aftermath and Uncertainty Surrounding the Weapon
The U.S. military has not confirmed the use of such a weapon, and questions regarding the weapon’s exact nature remain unanswered.
The White House also did not respond immediately to inquiries about whether the account shared by Leavitt was being verified.
The attack was catastrophic for the Venezuelan forces. An estimated 100 security personnel were killed, though it is unclear whether the mysterious weapon played a role in their deaths.
Despite the devastating loss, the guard's account emphasized just how outmatched the Venezuelan forces were, claiming that "those 20 men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us."
The Role of Directed Energy Weapons
One possible explanation for the mysterious weapon is the use of directed energy weapons (DEWs).
These technologies, which have been under development for years, can incapacitate targets through focused energy such as microwaves or laser beams.
Experts suggest that the symptoms described by the Venezuelan soldier — bleeding, pain, and paralysis — align with the potential effects of such weapons.
A former U.S. intelligence source spoke to The Post, confirming that the U.S. military has had directed energy weapons in its arsenal for some time. "We’ve had versions for decades," the source said.
“I can’t say all of those symptoms. But yes, some.” This kind of technology has been used by other nations as well, such as China, which reportedly used a microwave weapon during a border clash with India in 2020.
A Stark Warning to Anyone Who Challenges the U.S.
For the Venezuelan soldier who survived the raid, the message was clear. "I’m sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States," he said.
“They have no idea what they’re capable of. After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. They’re not to be messed with.”
The soldier also noted that the raid had sent shockwaves through Latin America, especially following President Trump's recent remarks about Mexico being "on the list."
"Everyone is already talking about this," he said. "No one wants to go through what we went through. What happened here is going to change a lot of things — not just in Venezuela, but throughout the region."
